Sherlock Holmes Museum
Sherlock Holmes Museum - Victorian London in the heart of the Haslital
In the historic basement of the former English Church in Meiringen, the world's only authentic replica of the living room from 221b Baker Street awaits you, carefully recreated from the stories of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
The museum was opened in May 1991 on the 100th anniversary of Sherlock Holmes' death - with the participation of Dame Jean Conan Doyle, the author's daughter.
Fans can expect a fascinating collection of exhibits on Holmes, Dr. Watson and Victorian police history - complemented by modern offerings such as the interactive whodunit pass - an experience in the charming ambience of Meiringen.
